💼 Skilled Roles
1. Electrician (Skilled)
Experience: 2–5 years in electrical installation & maintenance (industrial/factory preferred).
Skills & Knowledge: Three-phase systems, power distribution, motor connections, troubleshooting, safety standards, PPE use, ability to work independently, handle urgent repairs.
Qualification: NVQ Level 3+ in Electrical/Industrial Maintenance.
Welder (Skilled)
Experience: 3–4 years in MIG/TIG/Arc welding, metal fabrication or machinery welding preferred.
Skills & Knowledge: Reading technical drawings, measuring, cutting, grinding, finishing, welding metal/stainless steel, welding safety & PPE knowledge.
Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent practical experience.
Lathe Operation (Skilled)
Experience: 3–5 years operating manual lathes, CNC/automated lathe experience an advantage.
Skills & Knowledge: Metal cutting, shaping, finishing, reading mechanical drawings, setup, operation, maintenance, safety and quality assurance.
Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Machining or Fitting & Turning.
🛠️ Semi-Skilled Roles
2. Metal Sheet Worker (Semi-Skilled)
Experience: 1–2 years in sheet cutting, bending, fitting, trainees with basic knowledge acceptable.
Skills & Knowledge: Cutting, bending, drilling, assembly, basic measurements, teamwork, willingness to learn.
Qualification: NVQ Level 2/3 in Metal Fabrication / Sheet Metal Work - or hands-on experience.
Upholstering Worker (Semi-Skilled)
Experience: 1–2 years in upholstery, sofa/seat covering; trainees with basic sewing skills acceptable.
Skills & Knowledge: Cutting, stitching, fitting fabric/foam, use of sewing machines, staplers, measuring, attention to detail.
Qualification: NVQ Level 2/3 in Upholstery / Furniture Finishing or hands-on experience.
Machine Painter (Semi-Skilled)
Experience: 1–2 years in spray/industrial painting, trainees with paint-handling knowledge can be trained.
Skills & Knowledge: Spray guns, paint mixing, surface preparation, painting safety, detail-oriented and quality focused.
Qualification: NVQ Level 2/3 in Painting Technology or hands-on experience.
👥 Unskilled Roles
3. Support Staff / General Workers (Unskilled)
Experience: Not required (training provided).
Skills & Knowledge: Physically fit, punctual, willing to assist with general factory operations.
Cleaner / Tea Maker (Unskilled)
Experience: Not required (experience in cleaning or tea-making an advantage).
Skills & Knowledge: Friendly, neat, reliable, able to maintain factory cleanliness and assist with refreshments.
