Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager – Tax, you will play a key role in managing the company's overall tax affairs. Your expertise in planning and compliance will help ensure Fairfirst continues to meet its tax obligations efficiently and accurately, while also identifying opportunities for improvement.
Who You Are (Key Responsibilities)
Ensure the timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and withholding tax.
Prepare and review tax computations, advance tax workings, and reconciliation statements.
Liaise with tax authorities and consultants on all tax-related matters, ensuring timely responses and compliance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and regulatory changes, implementing necessary updates promptly.
Analyze the tax implications of business transactions and provide insightful recommendations.
Contribute to tax planning initiatives that enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.

What You Need (Qualifications & Experience)

Experience in tax compliance, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
Strong understanding of local tax laws, principles, and regulatory frameworks.
