Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Company: Sanasa Life Insurance Company PLC (A dynamic and rapidly growing player in Sri Lanka's insurance industry).
Key Responsibilities
Formulating and executing financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
Providing strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer.
Overseeing accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IRCSL, CSE, and SEC.
Managing capital adequacy, liquidity, and financial risks to ensure operational efficiency and solvency.
Maintaining strong internal controls, governance frameworks, and compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.
Liaising with regulators, external auditors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Leading and developing a high-performing finance team.
Requirements
A relevant professional qualification in Accounting/Finance (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
A Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; an MBA would be an added advantage.
A minimum of 10 years of senior financial management experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
Proven experience in strategic financial leadership, regulatory reporting, and risk management.
Strong knowledge of SLFRS, insurance regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance standards.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
