🏗️ Senior QS for Highway Construction

Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying (typically the minimum requirement).
Relevant Experience:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically within the highways and roads sector.
- At least 10+ years of experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Preference is given for those who have the experience to work with RDA (Road Development Authority) and at Central Expressway Project.
Core Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in reading and understanding architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Expertise in Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimation.
- Thorough knowledge on preparing Interim Payment Certificates, claims, etc.
- Sound knowledge on Contract Management.
- Knowledge of standard measurement.
- Understanding of financial principles, cost control, and rate analysis.
- Familiarity with relevant construction law and contract forms (e.g., NEC, JCT, or FIDIC).

Software Proficiency: Expertise with quantity surveying and project management software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, CostX, On Screen Takeoff, or Primavera is highly preferred.
Specialized Experience: Experience in both pre-contract (cost planning and tendering) and post-contract management roles is desirable.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
