Position: Planning Specialist - Production
Organization: QUALITEA CEYLON (PVT) LTD.

Ideal Candidate: Must have a strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, ERP systems, and process improvement methodologies. The role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities 📋
Customer Order Management: Plan and execute customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Production Scheduling: Confirm feasible cargo-ready dates and communicate them promptly to the marketing team.
Outsourced Production Management: Oversee production orders outsourced to third-party packers, ensuring strategic and cost-effective management of external partners.
Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise effectively with the Procurement, Shipping, Tea processing, Finance, and Production divisions to streamline operations and optimize resource allocation.
Operations Oversight: Lead and conduct regular operations meetings to review progress, address challenges, and align teams with production goals.
Functions related to Job Orders and overall ERP Management:
Manage all front-end activities, including user support, license management, and troubleshooting.
Create job orders, manage Bill of Materials (BOM) cost roll-ups, and generate new product codes.
Ensure timely Material Receipt Note (MRN) closing and overall ERP data integrity.
Management information in order to make decisions.
Process Audits & Compliance (A Teamwork): Conduct process audits and ensure adherence to established operational standards and procedures.
Qualifications 🎓
Education: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Skills:
Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and logistics.
Proficient in managing functions through ERP systems, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
