Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Engineer to design and maintain ELV systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
The ELV Engineer will be responsible for systems such as:
Networking
Telephone systems
CCTV
Access control
Public address
AV systems
Fire alarm
Structured cabling, and other related technologies.
Qualifications and Experience
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose tailored IT and ELV solutions.
Conduct solution and product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical presentations to showcase solution capabilities.
Prepare and deliver Site surveys, Quotations, comprehensive technical proposals, solution designs, and documentation.
Assist in designing customized, scalable solutions aligned with client goals, technical needs, and budget.
Participate in client meetings, RFP responses, and technical workshops to support pre-sales activities.
Work closely with internal product and technical teams to ensure seamless solution implementation and delivery.
Analyze business and technical requirements to recommend cost-effective and future-ready IT/ELV solutions.
Testing/Configuring and Commissioning of ICT systems.
Skills and Experience
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the IT or ELV industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and enterprise or ELV systems.
Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across technical and non-technical areas.
Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant ELV design software.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, etc.) are an added advantage.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
