💼 Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Monitoring payroll processing and ensuring timely statutory payments.
Overseeing all company taxes and related payments to maintain compliance.
Effectively and efficiently managing all daily accounting functions.
Preparation of monthly management accounts and other reports.
Ability to complete annual financial statements with minimum supervision.
Preparation of budgets and cashflow forecasts.
Monitoring collection deposits.
Liaising with auditors and meeting deadlines.
Monitoring performance Vs Budgets.
Adhering to internal controls implemented by the company.
🎓 Qualifications and Skills Required
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Part Qualification in CA Sri Lanka with a minimum of 3 years in Audit Firm and commercial experience.
Good knowledge in LKAS/SLFRS (Sri Lanka Accounting Standards/Sri Lanka Financial Reporting Standards).
Proficiency in MS office and knowledge in finance ERP (experience in SAGE would be an added advantage).
Ability to work independently or with minimum supervision.
Candidates should be adaptable and detailed oriented.
💰 Salary and Application Details
Salary: LKR 85,000 - 107,000 with Experience & Qualifications.
