Company Overview
American Premium Water is the pioneer in Sri Lanka's bottled water industry, with a staff strength of over 1200 and extended reach across Logistics & SCM, Construction, and Polymer Packaging sectors. The company is seeking a Head of HR for immediate employment due to rapid expansion across Sri Lanka and other Asian markets.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Policies: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures for effective recruitment, retention, motivation, and performance of staff.
HR Processes: Streamline and enhance existing HR processes, introducing advanced HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Employee Lifecycle: Operationalize the HR strategy across the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding to exit.
Strategic Input: Contribute at a strategic level to strengthen the organization's position and influence within the industry.
Management & Reporting: Assist in the development, evaluation, and presentation of reports, decisions, and outcomes on HR-related operational matters.
Training & Budget: Design, implement, and monitor training and development programs, including onboarding. Prepare the annual HR budget and ensure all HR activities are executed within the allocated budget.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all labor regulations, statutory requirements, and country-specific employment laws.
Workplace Culture: Oversee employee welfare, recreation, and engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture and efficiency.
Compensation & Benefits: Develop and manage compensation and benefits structures across organizational units, including factories and branch locations.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business Management from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience covering all aspects of HRM.
Professional Qualifications: Professional qualifications in HRM, Organizational Development, or an equivalent field will be an added advantage.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge and practical skills in manpower planning and recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal systems, and disciplinary procedures.
Leadership: Proven ability to make sound decisions and implement organizational change at a leadership level.
Soft Skills: People-oriented with the capability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire confidence and build trust among stakeholders.
Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Sinhala and English.
