Senior Accountant & Administration Manager
Location: Colombo 03. Type: Full-time | On-site / Hybrid
About the Role
TSA Services Pty Ltd is seeking a highly capable Accountant & Administration Manager with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience. The successful candidate must possess a strong skill-set covering full bookkeeping, payroll processing, bank reconciliation, accounts management, and compliance, along with overseeing day-to-day administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Responsibilities
BAS & ATO Compliance
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, PAYG, and GST statements.
Calculate and lodge PAYG and GST deferral as appropriate.
Prepare documentation for EDPY in collaboration with external accountants.
Bookkeeping & Financial Management
Perform end-to-end bookkeeping using Xero.
Maintain accurate general ledger, journals, and chart of accounts.
Generate monthly bank/credit card reconciliation and supplier reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, debtor, and financial summaries.
Monitor cashflow and prepare financial reports for management.
Payroll Processing
Run payroll using Employment Hero, including award-based calculations and leave entries, and process weekly/fortnightly/monthly pays.
Administer payroll reporting and reconciliation.
Issue payslips directly via Employment Hero.
Maintain accurate leave and entitlement records.
2. Administrative & Operational Responsibilities
Roster & Workforce Coordination
Update weekly rosters using ClickTime Manager.
Daily liaison with the workforce/drivers.
Verify weekly timesheets prior to payroll.
Track mileage/km usage, fleet maintenance, and coverage.
Staff Administration & Compliance
Maintain staff files in Employment Hero and other systems.
Manage contracts/agreements/onboarding for new staff/drivers and services.
Maintain compliance registers including training, inductions, and WHS records.
Ensure accurate documentation for operations and safety requirements.
General Administrative Support
Manage email communication with staff, suppliers, and management.
Prepare internal documents, reports, letters, and forms.
Maintain organized filing systems for company and administrative records.
Assist management with planning, scheduling, and operational requirements.
Experience Required
Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
Strong working knowledge of Xero.
Confident with MYOB software.
Payroll experience using Employment Hero or similar systems.
Experience engaging with local suppliers/mechanics.
Strong Excel skills.
Experience in a service-based business is an advantage.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
BAS Agent registration or interest in progressing toward registration (advantage)
Must be bilingual/familiarity with mixed nationalities (advantage)
