Job Title: Senior Executive – Operations
Location: Central Bakery – Habarakada
Company: LAUGFS Supermarket (part of LAUGFS Holdings Company, including Crimson Bakery & Medz Pharmacy)
Role Description
The Senior Executive – Operations is primarily responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting the performance of key operational KPIs of the Central Bakery. The role requires ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and timely reporting while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Preparation, updating, and maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all bakery products.
Managing and controlling inventory, raw material, and other cost lines in line with approved budgets.
Analyzing production and sales trends to provide insights for decision-making.
Implementing effective actions for inventory optimization and wastage reduction.
Preparing, analyzing, and presenting management reports on Central Bakery’s business performance.
Coordinating with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
Monitoring production efficiency and recommending process improvements to increase productivity.
Supporting cost control initiatives and identifying opportunities for cost-saving without compromising quality.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka or CIMA (mandatory).
A Degree in Business Management or related field from a recognized university would be an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
Energetic, proactive, and results-driven individual with strong leadership potential.
Excellent communication skills in Sinhala and English (both written & spoken).
Age below 40 years.
