Job Title: Commercial Manager
Company: Spider Technologies (Private) Limited (a leading rope access company specializing in façade cleaning, painting, waterproofing, sealant application, and non-destructive testing).
Location: Colombo
Background Requirement: A strong background in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, proven trade experience, and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the company's commercial and operational strategy.
Oversee project operations, ensuring efficient planning, smooth delivery, and timely completion.
Manage cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and resource utilization reporting.
Negotiate and manage contracts, risks, and compliance requirements.
Drive business development and build strong client relationships.
Streamline systems and processes to improve efficiency at the site level.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
Experience: 10 years of trade experience with 5 years of experience in a similar managerial role.
Skills: Strong knowledge of engineering, contracts, planning, and commercial strategy.
Leadership: Excellent leadership, organizing, communication, and negotiation skills.
Work Ethic: Willingness to work under pressure and be available for extended hours when needed.
Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites across Sri Lanka.
