Position Details
Position: Garment Technologist
Location: Gampaha, Wattala, Kadawatha, Ja Ela
Reporting to: Operation Manager
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Tech pack and Specification by analyzing design requests from overseas customers.
Develop new patterns with the CAD department and advise CAD teams to ensure proper samples are made.
Must have sound knowledge of sewing construction and communicate with developers & designers for smooth flow of sampling.
Review package from merchandising to ensure Raw Materials (RM's) are as per spec and customer requirements.
Create technical data sheet, risk analysis reports to communicate with internal & customer teams prior to sample dispatch.
Assist Sample/developments operators to achieve the sample requirements.
Quality checking & audits of both materials/trims and finished products prior to dispatch.
Work closely with plant management, conducting Pre-Production meeting to ensure a proper style handover to bulk production, including Teck packs/ RA/ Sealed sample and any other related data.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum five years' experience commensurate with SLITA/MORATUWA qualification related to apparel manufacturing.
Age: Between 35 – 45 yrs.
