Position: Chemical Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing the production processes that include designing and expediting the chemical production operations.
Monitoring and controlling processes to ensure stable operation and high product quality.
Develop and conduct regular testing, analysis, and adjustment of chemical solutions to meet specified standards.
Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce material wastage.
Advise and support process teams in troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, test results, and technical reports.
Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations at all times, and guide the company on meeting national and international compliance requirements.
Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial chemical processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Work Style: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
Advantage: Living close to Katunayake will be an added advantage.
