Position: Assistant Manager - Finance (Biyagama)
📋 Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager will:
Assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes across departments.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
Monitor cash flow, banking operations, and account reconciliations.
Review and process journal entries, invoices, and other financial documents.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Supervise junior finance staff and provide guidance.
Contribute to process improvements and automation within the finance function.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry in the accounting system.
🎓 Job Specifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
Professional Qualification: CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification (preferred).
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role.
Expertise: Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
Systems: Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
