MERCHANDISER (Fashion Trade & Modern Trade Outlets)
📝 Role Overview
The Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring effective product visibility, availability, and display across fashion trade and modern trade outlets. The focus is on maintaining brand standards, monitoring stock levels, and driving product performance at the point of sale.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Visit assigned outlets regularly to ensure proper display, visibility, and brand compliance.
Monitor stock levels, ensure timely replenishment, and minimize out-of-stocks.
Coordinate with the sales team to execute promotions, product launches, and visual displays.
Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and promotions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail staff.
Prepare daily and weekly reports on outlet performance, shelf share, and visibility.
Ensure POS materials and brand assets are properly placed and maintained.
Support in conducting market surveys and feedback collection from retailers.
🎓 Requirements
GCE A/L qualification or equivalent; a diploma in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
1-3 years of experience in merchandising (preferably in FMCG, cosmetics, or retail).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively to assigned territories.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of retail display standards.
Basic reporting and computer skills (MS Excel, WhatsApp reporting, etc.).
