📝 About the Role
You will play a vital role in the testing, identification and analysis of gemstones, ensuring every report reflects the accuracy and trust that define the GIC brand.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day gem testing and documentation processes in line with GIC’s standard operating procedures.
Ensure scientific accuracy and consistency in all test results and gemstone identifications.
Conduct gem analyses using advanced instruments and technology.
Maintain meticulous records, ensuring confidentiality, traceability, and quality control.
Collaborate with senior gemmologists and management to enhance testing protocols and uphold international standards.
Interact with clients professionally, representing the scientific and ethical values of GIC.
🎓 Prerequisites
Qualified in Gemmology – completed the Foundation Course and currently following the Diploma.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a gem testing laboratory.
Age: Preferably between 25 – 35 years.
Strong analytical and observational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
A passion for gemstones and a commitment to integrity and continuous professional growth.
