Position: Audit Executive
📋 Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits in accordance with the approved Annual Audit Plan, and carry out special audits as directed by the Chairman or the Audit & Management Committee.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance processes, and provide constructive recommendations for improvement.
Review and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports highlighting key findings, observations, and actionable recommendations to enhance operational and financial efficiency.
Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and report on progress to management and the Audit & Management Committee.
Collaborate effectively with departments to promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience
Candidates with an Accounting Degree or part qualifications in CIMA / CMA / ACCA / ICASL.
2-3 years of internal audit experience in a similar capacity, with the ability to work independently and handle assigned responsibilities effectively.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
High proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
A strong team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Strong Ethics with an ability to manage confidential data
Familiarity with Financial Regulations and Government Procurement Guidelines will be an advantage.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
