Assistant Quantity Surveyor
📋 Qualifications/Requirements
Degree in quantity surveyor and minimum 2 year experience in construction field.
Should have excellent knowledge on conditions of contract and monitoring interim bills, sub-contractor bills and materials list.
Strong leadership and team management.
Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English and Sinhala.
Having a very good knowledge of MS office and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of post contract procedure and preparing cash flow.
Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.
💼 Duties/Responsibilities (Abridged)
Participating in meetings, site visits, and briefing the management.
Responsible for competitive pricing using contract drawings, specification and bill of quantities.
Prepare cost benefit analysis and cash flow preparation.
Preparing interim payment applications, final bill payments and follow up.
Preparing sub-contract payment rate analysis.
Calling suppliers and sub-contractors for quotation and evaluations.
