Duties and Responsibilities
The role involves maintaining and implementing the SAP B1 application. Key tasks include:
Implementation and handling of responsibilities for all modules in SAP B1 (Administration, Finance, FA, COGS matching, Business partner, Sales, Purchase, Inventory management, Production, MRP, banking, HR, Service, and reports).
Project preparation and business process blueprinting and mapping.
Implementation of complete core modules.
Creating UDFs, UDOs, UDTs, FMS, as per client requirements.
Writing queries to generate quick reports from SAP B1 via Query Generator.
Writing views, store procedures which are used in Crystal Reports.
Generation of database scripts (SQL/HANA).
Maintaining SQL/HANA Backups.
Restoring databases for testing at SQL/HANA level.
Creation of User Defined Chart of Account as per client COA.
Uploading Master/Transactional data via DTW.
Preparation of functional specs for developing customized screens to the technical team.
Developing customized reports in Crystal Report, PLDs.
End user training and preparation of training manual.
Implementing Alert Management, Approval Procedures, and User Defaults.
Setting up authorization, licenses, and dashboard as per client requirement.
Developing menus and screens by using user interface elements.
Setting up G/L Account/Advance Determination/Warehouses User defaults.
Monitoring SAP back-up.
Reviewing access rights and change management for audit compliance.
Working closely with the company team and SAP product consultant on open calls.
Implementing data, software, and hardware security procedures.
Maintaining the SAP validation documents and SOPs.
Qualifications and Experience
Should be a SAP Certified professional.
Thorough knowledge in SAP B1 implementation and prior experience in the execution of similar projects.
In-depth understanding of transferring company requirements to the system.
Excellent command of English.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to meet deadlines.
