Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the full lifecycle of individual loan products / from design to execution / ensuring competitiveness and alignment with business goals.
- Market Research & Innovation: Analyze trends, customer needs & competitor offerings to shape impactful lending solutions.
- Product Development: Define features, pricing & user experience, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- **Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Risk, Credit, Operations, IT, Marketing) for seamless product implementation.
- Portfolio Management: Track KPIs including disbursement, customer acquisition, NPLs & profitability.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure full regulatory adherence and alignment with internal policies.
- Digital Transformation: Lead digital lending initiatives, including fintech collaborations & process automation.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team to deliver strategic outcomes.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in retail lending or consumer finance (e.g. Personal Loans, Business Loans, etc.), including 2+ years in a leadership or product management role.
- Proven track record in launching and managing individual loan products.
- Deep understanding of Sri Lanka’s financial market and regulatory environment.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exposure to digital lending platforms or fintech ecosystems is a strong advantage.
