Manager, Card Business
This role is described as a pivotal opportunity to take charge of strategic development, management, and growth of Cargills Bank card products and Merchant acquiring portfolio, shaping the future of payment solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute robust product strategies for Debit & Credit Cards.
Lead the end-to-end launch of new card products and enhancements.
Monitor and optimize portfolio performance, profitability, and customer engagement.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis.
Maximize business opportunities within the Cargills Eco System.
Maximize business opportunities and achieve budgeted business volumes & profitability pertaining to merchant acquiring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and internal policies.
Ensure a high card activation rate and increased card spend.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Banking, out of which 5 years with demonstrable involvement in a similar role within Banking/Financial services.
Full or part qualification in Finance, Banking, or a fully or partially completed degree in Management or an equivalent qualification.
An MBA will be an added advantage.
In-depth knowledge of payment networks, industry trends, and product lifecycle management.
Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
