Role: General Manager/Resident Manager
Closenberg Hotel is an iconic hotel built in 1860, offering 18 rooms, a main restaurant, and an infinity pool bar. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated General/Resident Manager to join their team.
📋 Key Aspects & Responsibilities
The manager will be responsible for:
Overseeing daily hotel operations across all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, Maintenance, HR, Finance).
Developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Ensuring guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.
Managing budgets, control costs, and maximizing revenue and profitability.
Monitoring room sales, occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR performance.
Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Overseeing recruitment, staff scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Ensuring property upkeep, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance.
Building strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Providing regular reports to hotel owners/board on financial and operational performance.
🎓 Requirements
Degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
8–12 years in the hospitality industry with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial role.
Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage multi-department teams.
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, presentation, and commitment to service excellence.
