Company: Bogawantalawa Tea Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd (A leading global marketer of world-renowned teas, part of the Metrocorp Group).
Location: International business operations processing center in Welisara.
The Job Includes (Key Responsibilities)
Conducting market research, analyzing trends, and evaluating competitors in the international business environment.
Identifying and attracting new clients in line with company strategy and coordinating onboarding.
Delivering sales presentations showcasing value-added and sustainable tea solutions.
Supporting the preparation of client proposals, pricing, and follow-up communication.
Supporting international marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and lead generation activities.
Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and reporting on key performance metrics.
Applicant Profile (Requirements)
Experience: 5–6 years proven track record in exceptional service delivery, international business development and acquiring new clients, with at least 2–3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Education: Degree related to international marketing or a CIM or SLIM qualification.
Clientele: Prior experience in developing an international clientele.
Skills:
Excellent communication and persuasion as well as organizing, planning, networking, and project management skills along with an outgoing personality.
Advantage: Having prior experience in the Tea exporting industry and social media activities to approach new customers are added advantages.
