Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand complex business requirements and design best-suited software solutions.
- Translating business requirements into functional specifications.
- Validating requirements with stakeholders to ensure alignment and get the requirements signed off.
- Working with stakeholders to design solutions that align with business objectives and ensure feasibility.
- Developing detailed documentation, including business cases, user flows, and process diagrams.
- Managing expectations, facilitating communication, and resolving conflicts among stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for improving business processes, workflows, and systems.
- Recommending improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance business performance.
- Supporting project planning, risk management, and progress tracking.
- Analyzing business data to provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Identifying potential risks and issues in processes, system designs, or project plans.
- Mitigating risks by proposing solutions to meet business goals.
- Coordinating in-house training and external and internal product demonstrations.
- Suggesting and implementing process improvements, tools, or technologies that enhance business analysis practices.
- To be located and work mostly within the Client premises (Sri Lanka/Overseas).
Requirements:
- A thorough understanding of SDLC practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in business process modeling, data analysis, and requirement gathering techniques.
- 5–10 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong ability to work independently on challenging projects.
- Ability to complete work on time with outstanding quality and have the mindset for continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership skills, including team management towards strict deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills to work closely with clients and internal teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in IT and/or Business Administration.
- A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
