Assistant Manager - Finance
Biomedite Pvt Ltd is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to support daily financial operations, bank transactions, ERP processes, and audit preparations.
Responsibilities
Monitor daily bank transactions and maintain online tracking sheets, including updating bank cash books and reconciling bank statements.
Perform all types of bank transactions such as fund transfers, vendor payments, salary/advance disbursements, loan settlements, and fuel card reloads.
Handle ERP-related tasks, including updating returned cheques, processing salary transactions, and ensuring accurate ledger entries and reconciliations.
Prepare and maintain financial records, such as salary journal vouchers, general ledger entries (in Excel), and monthly RRB comparison reports.
Manage fixed deposits and other bank-related matters, ensuring timely execution and providing effective solutions.
Coordinate and support audit processes, including preparing monthly reconciliation schedules, arranging confirmations for FDs and loans, and assisting with year-end audit and stock verification.
Prepare cheque and BATA payments, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
Provide backup support within the Finance Department during the absence of the Finance Manager, including organizing and delegating departmental work.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Qualified in CIMA, ACCA, CA, or ICASL (or equivalent professional qualification).
3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of banking operations, fund transfers and financial reconciliations.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (experience in updating ledgers, salary processing, and cheque handling).
