📋 Job Title: Engineer - Aluminium
The company is looking for a dynamic, qualified, and experienced professional.
📝 Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities for this role include:
Creating detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, and resource allocations.
Ability to prepare material take off.
Attending meetings conducted by the client and submitting reports to the MD & other Executive staff.
Attending Site meetings, project reviews, pre-tender meetings, and site visits.
Ability to prepare comprehensive detailed Aluminium shop drawing (Structural glass, curtain wall, HPL Partition, Glass door and windows).
Managing project schedules, monitoring progress, and identifying potential delays or bottlenecks.
Optimizing resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution and minimizing costs.
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to ensure project success.
Monitoring project budgets and costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing variances.
Tracking project progress against the plan, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Managing changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring they are implemented effectively.
Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, sub-contractors, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
✅ Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
B.Sc (Engineering) with 3 years' experience OR NDT/HNDE with 5 years specialized in Aluminium work, ceiling work, and Glazing work.
Sound knowledge in preparing Aluminium costing & estimate.
Knowledge in Construction methodologies & technologies.
Excellence in MS Project, AUTO CAD & MS Office.
Should have work experience in the construction industries and have the skill and ability to work under pressure.
Possess good interpersonal skills and communication skills in both English & Sinhala.
Should be able to work with minimum supervision.
Should possess a valid driving license.
Age below 40 years.
