JUNIOR EXECUTIVE - PURCHASING (MALE)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of our procurement process, ensuring a timely and efficient process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trace, identify, and establish relationships with potential and existing suppliers, focusing on both dry goods and perishables (vegetables and fish).
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines to ensure the best value for the company.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of suppliers based on their performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform regular visits to suppliers to evaluate market trends, assess product quality, and stay updated on industry developments.
- Track and maintain Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time, especially considering the perishable nature of some products.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a focus on FMCG products, including perishables such as vegetables and fish.
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills for assessing suppliers and securing the best deals.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
