MANAGER - COMPLIANCE
Client Profile Our client is a leading group of companies engaged in manufacturing & supply of high-quality packaging solutions to many Sri Lankan industries. They are looking for a self-motivated, ambitious, and dynamic individual to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure adherence to SOPs, applicable laws, and regulations (e.g., tax, financial, environmental, and labour regulations).
Implementation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) Strategy, focusing on sustainability assessments, data collection and analysis, risk management, compliance, and reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams, developing, training, and ensuring ESG principles are integrated into daily operations and long-term goals.
Stay up to date with regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business.
Ensure company policies and procedures reflect current regulatory requirements.
Internal Policy Development & Enforcement.
Identify areas of potential risk, non-compliance, or process gaps and recommend improvements and present compliance reports to the management.
Investigations & Incident Management.
Candidate Profile
Be a member of a Professional accounting body CA/CIMA/ACCA.
A degree or masters in finance or related field would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting audit, or compliance.
In-depth knowledge of finance regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
