Context: A multinational company, pioneered and engaged in the manufacture and supply of polyester buttons in Sri Lanka since 1997.
Location: The factory is in the Biyagama Zone.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Education: University degree in Human Resources or equivalent professional studies OR related previous work exposure with sound A/L qualifications.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in HR & Administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills: Ability to work independently and handle multi-functional responsibilities.
Preferred: Candidates residing in Biyagama and the suburbs are preferred.
Bonus: Previous experience will be an added advantage.
Requirement Skills & Qualifications
The HR Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of HR and administrative tasks, including:
Effective development and maintenance of Personal files of Staff & Worker.
Issue Appointment letters to Worker Grade.
Maintain accurate data in terms of time & attendance of staff & workers.
Handling EPF & ETF claims.
Visit Job Bank and find sources to enhance recruitments.
Prepare daily Over Time sheet and send it to relevant parties.
Prepare manpower payment report / transport payment report monthly.
Handle employee confirmations (Evaluations & Letters).
Handle Staff insurance claims and additions/deletions/amendments.
Assist in the Training calendar by coordinating with HRM.
Raise PR for monthly requirements of HR & Canteen facility.
Handling grievances and record the details.
Maintain HR event calendar.
Assist in Environmental, Security, Canteen functions.
Overlook the worker Dormitory.
Any other matters that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
