Position Available
Assistant Manager - Packing (Location: Biyagama)
Responsibilities
Improve productivity of direct and indirect labour while optimizing manpower and reducing overtime through automation.
Plan and manage packing operations to achieve target capacity utilization, ensuring zero fault notices and customer complaints.
Implement 5S in the packing department and develop multi-skilled operators to enhance efficiency.
Maintain accurate records in systems such as SAP, ensuring timely completion of packing-related entries and reports.
Ensure team health and safety, evaluate and motivate staff, and drive the department to achieve 100% OTIF (On Time In Full).
Job Specifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 03 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Skills/Knowledge:
People management skills.
Knowledge about SAP.
Understanding on the manufacturing environment.
