We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Manager, Academic Quality to lead our efforts in fostering academic excellence and compliance with local and international standards.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Manager of Academic Quality, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the Quality Department. This role involves establishing the department's functionality, designing, implementing, and monitoring policies and processes related to academic program execution, overseeing external accreditation and validation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and assessment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the institution’s academic quality assurance framework.
Ensure compliance with local and international academic standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and oversee periodic review processes for academic programs and courses.
Develop and maintain academic policies and procedures to ensure consistency and alignment with regulatory standards.
Liaise with external accreditation bodies, regulatory agencies, and partner institutions.
Provide guidance and training to academic staff on quality assurance processes and standards.
Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) for academic quality.
Lead on the preparation of self-assessment reports, accreditation submissions, and audit documentation.
Monitor student feedback and use data to inform quality enhancement initiatives.
Work closely with academic leadership, faculty, and administrative staff to embed quality practices across all departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in Education, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, academic compliance, or a similar role within higher education.
Thorough knowledge of local and international regulatory frameworks for higher education.
Proven track record of leading accreditation processes and liaising with external regulatory bodies.
Strong understanding of academic quality frameworks and higher education regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
